In Chinese element theory, each zodiac year is connected to one of five elements: Gold (Metal), Wood, Water, Fire, or Earth. 2017 is a Fire Rooster year
In Chinese astrology the theory goes that a person’s characteristics are decided by their birth year’s zodiac sign and element. So, people born in a year of the Rooster are “Roosters”. They are observant, hardworking, resourceful, courageous, and talented. There are five types of Roosters:
Wood Rooster Energetic, overconfident, tender, and unstable
Fire Rooster Trustworthy, with a strong sense of timekeeping and responsibility at work
Earth Rooster Lovely, generous, trustworthy, and popular with their friends
Gold Rooster Determined, brave, perseverant, and hardworking
Water Rooster Smart, quick-witted, tenderhearted, and compassionate
Roosters are always active, amusing, and popular within a crowd. Roosters are talkative, outspoken, frank, open, honest, and loyal. They like to be the centre of attention. Roosters are happiest when they are surrounded by others, whether at a party or gathering. They enjoy being in the spotlight.
Roosters are typically healthy people who enjoy sports and being active. They don’t get sick very often and even when they do, they recover quickly.
